Super Mario Enemies
The Mushroom Kingdom is riddled with dangerous hostiles. Knowing your enemy is half the battle when you play mario game free online. Here is a comprehensive list of all the classic Mario enemies:
Goomba
The iconic mushroom-like enemy. They wander mindlessly to the left and will hurt Mario on contact. How to defeat: Stomp on their heads or shoot them with a fireball.
Koopa Troopa
Turtle-like enemies that retract into their shells when stomped. How to defeat: Jump on them once to hide them in their shell, then kick the shell to defeat other enemies (be careful, bouncing shells can hurt Mario!).
Piranha Plant
Fierce carnivorous plants that emerge from green pipes. How to defeat: You cannot jump on them! Use fireballs or completely avoid the pipe when they pop out.
Buzzy Beetle
Armored turtles that are completely immune to fireballs. How to defeat: Only stomps or invincibility stars work against them.
Hammer Bro
Elite Koopa guards that mercilessly toss a barrage of hammers in an arc. Typically appear in pairs. How to defeat: Hit the brick block from underneath that they are standing on, or time a fireball perfectly.
King Bowser
The colossal, fire-breathing turtle dragon and main antagonist. He waits for Mario at the end of World Castles (x-4 levels). How to defeat: Cross over him and hit the axe to drop the bridge into the lava, or pelt him with multiple fireballs.
