Mario Cheats, Secrets & Warp Zones

World 1-2 Warp: At the very end of World 1-2, instead of going into the green pipe, ride the moving platforms up, jump onto the ceiling of the level, and run all the way to the right. You will drop into a hidden room with three pipes allowing you to warp to Worlds 2, 3, or 4!

World 4-2 Warp: In World 4-2, climb up a vine spawned from a hidden block to reach the warp zone for Worlds 6, 7, and 8!

In World 3-1, at the end of the level, you will find two Koopa Troopas coming down a staircase. Jump on the second Koopa Troopa exactly when it is on the edge of the stair. Mario will repeatedly bounce on the shell endlessly, rewarding you with infinite 1-Up lives!

In World 1-2, right before the pipe to the surface, you can attempt a very precise backward crouch-jump into the solid brick wall. If done correctly, Mario glides through the wall into the warp zone. Taking the first pipe sends you to an endless underwater water level known as "World -1" that can never be completed.
